As says in Luke 15, verse 22 …
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.”
The word “quick” when the father of the prodigal son ordered his servants to prepare a feast for his son’s homecoming dawned on me that the Father in heaven is always awaiting for our return if and when we put a distance to our relationship with Him. HE is not slow in His compassion, neither does He nurture anger nor contemplate to extend grace.
Our Father in heaven, awaits with patience for us to shake off our rebellious spirits until we choose to return home and turn our hearts back to Him. And always, HE is quick to welcome us home ready to take us into His loving embrace with forgiveness in His heart.
Our Father can not offer love more than He can give us because there is nothing we can ever do can make Him love us less.
