In Psalm 119, verses 35 to 37 says:
“Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.
Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.”
There are some moments, maybe most times when we are dictated to covet how everybody sees and does things. We pattern our thoughts and behavior conforming to the world around us and then live to regret that we should have done so otherwise.
May we be reminded to do away with anything that will potentially make our hearts unyielding to God. Because if we see through God’s eyes then everything we do will definitely make perfect sense.
Thus, I pray that we renew our minds and hearts delighting in the Lord and experience the true sense of something that is worthy and good.
