ese’s weekly shoot & quote challenge – bare

Every parent is at some time the father of the unreturned prodigal, with nothing to do but keep his house open to hope. — John Ciardi

When we open our hearts, we bare our inner souls to understanding, forgiving and even accepting what is beyond fair because we want hope to shine through our lives and inspire those whom we love.

We bare our vulnerability to pain, rejection, and regret but with it is the hope of reconciliation and forgiveness.ย  This is a mighty feat, but a selfless act of devotion.

    1. when Bob and i visited this place, i was so enthralled by the quiet and beauty of the surroundings … there were no city noises at all and i was so at peace and felt God’s presence intimately … thank you for your encouragement — April

  1. Beautiful and touching. When out hearts are open, we are the most vulnerable – the risk of being hurt is there but at the same time all the gates are open for happiness and love, too.

please take a moment ... and tickle me pink!
