Weeds are lowly, insignificant even undesirable plant forms persistently growing in fields, gardens and roadsides. In well-manicured gardens, they are considered pests which spoil the beautiful intention of the grounds, whereas, in other locations where weeds proliferate indiscriminately, they are not even noticed, visibly unseen.
In a parable in the book of Matthew, the weeds were made to grow with the wheat only to be uprooted, bundled and burned. May our lives not be considered trivial in any circumstance but be significant even in the simplest of our deeds. Even if others do not take notice, our God sees the purest of our intentions lifting us with HIS eternal love.
