tagged K … knot

Knots are defined as an interlacing or twining of a cord or rope tied into a lump mostly for ornamental purposes.  Like a laced bow for a little girls’ sneakers or the knot on a white wedding chord.

Yet, more personally, knots can be described as snarls in one’s life that shake perspectives, decisions and priorities transforming straight paths into messy loops.  But the steadfast hand of God can untangle the most muddled knot into an organized connection of tied circumstances that bring honor to Him alone.

      1. Hi April!

Home improvement projects are the tops for me, despite the “chaos” that comes along with them 🙂

We’re not yet on break from homeschooling. In fact, I’ve been rethinking those breaks. In the last 2 years I ended up “pushing” my kids and me to the point of stress just to have the 2 month long break. I finally realised, with all the breaks we’ve had in-between through-out the school year, that we didn’t need such a long break after all. So we’re just “plodding” along and aiming to get as much as we can do in a certain day. We have off days – when we just don’t want to hit the books, and play, read or go outdoors instead. It makes for happier kids and a happier me, too 🙂

Looking forward to seeing you around here again soon!

        Blessings,
        Mary

  1. I like your metaphorical description: “…knots can be described as snarls in one’s life that shake perspectives, decisions and priorities transforming straight paths into messy loops…”
