This was taken of the “THE RUINS” in Talisay City, Bacolod located at the southern islands of the Philippines. Bob and I had this last minute discovery and it was one great subject to capture in various angles and perspectives at different moments of day as well. We were not able to get to the area before sunset which most said was the best time to capture the beauty of the RUINS.
However, when nightfall came, the RUINS was radiant with lights which gave it a mystical glow.
This was a mansion by an illustrious Ilonggo family which was torched by Filipino Guerrillas so that it will not be used as a Japanese headquarters during the war. Thus, the stone edifice was the mere remnant left of the fire, which now stands as a memorial of Filipino pride and love for country.
